I have moderately severe spinal stenosis at L4 and 5 that causes intense muscle spasms. I’ve found Nancy’s work to be a useful for physician, patient, and/or anybody else who wishes to let go of life’s stresses. I’m impressed with its content and presentation. It’s first rate!
Let it go. Since stress is a huge trigger for cravings, learning to deal with it could potentially save you hundreds of calories a day. This will take some practice. You can try deep breathing or visualizing a serene scene on your own, or you can speed things up by buying one of the many CDs that teach progressive muscle relaxation. One of the reasons our neighborhood is such a jewel, is the ongoing yoga+ classes Nancy offers at the Healing Sanctuary. What a luxury it is not having to get in a car! I gave your Relax-Quick! CD as a gift to each of our professional facilitators at the recent Annual Company Meeting. We then used the CD for an extended relaxation exercise during the meeting. I decided to try EDGU as it was one of the few things offered at the YMCA at a time I could attend before going to work. Nancy’s yoga+ classes are the best thing I’ve done for my forty-year-old body.
