I have been privileged to practice EDGU with Nancy for many years. I was delighted when her EDGU DVD became available because it allowed me to continue the physical and spiritual part of the practice at home. I have given her DVD as a gift to several friends who have found it very valuable as well.

Thank you for your words of solace and support in your CDs. You have helped so many of us on the road to recovery from cancer.

I think you probably knew just how much I needed that time with you yesterday. I have not cried that long and hard with anyone but [my husband] in probably 25 years. So much release…so much insight and healing happened. I have been tired today … but so much calmer. So thank you for being such an amazing being, for offering such a safe space for me and for shining your loving heart and facilitating such deep healing. You are a wonder.

Thank you, Nancy! You didn’t over-sell the merits of your Deep, Healing Sleep CD. I’ve listened to it many times and today have it running continually to float in the relaxing, positive energy you express. It eased the allergic tickle in my throat when I listened to it at the hospital’s Sleep Fair where we met, and now my “lost voice” is almost back! How were you drawn to Nancy’s work? About three years ago there was a lovely article in the Register Guard and it really told all about her. I had [breast] cancer at the time but it had not spread and I wasn’t really in need of, or didn’t think I was in need, of help at the time. But very shortly after that, Nancy had a CD signing over at Border’s bookstore and I was out of town…but I gave her a call because my cancer had spread and I was needing to start chemo. And, oh, I’ll tell you, … Read more

It was wonderful to have been led to your doorstep as I faced the process of surgery and recovery. Your voice and guidance are so gentle and reassuring. Thank you, Nancy, for making this healing CD available to so many.

I have tried every kind of drug and herbal remedy on the market for my chronic insomnia, in addition to hypnosis, acupuncture, and solo meditation. None of these tools were able to remedy the root of the problem–my inability to relax and let go. Nancy Hopps fairly beams as she casts her inner glow over the Eugene Chamber Theatre’s “The Descent of Inanna,” a dark and complex modern telling of a 5,000 year old Sumarian myth. Hopps does it all – sings, dances, acts. But primarily she makes you believe in the joys, pains and magnitude of Inanna’s challenges. I had an amazing, powerful healing dream after being at Nancy Hopps’ crystal bowl concert…After I woke up I could tell I felt inwardly refreshed. My optimism and light-heartedness had returned after a few weeks of feeling somewhat down, sad or angry. I e-mailed dear Nancy to thank her. Despite having been somewhat distracted during the bowls event with remnants of a cold, and thus unable to “sink in” as deeply as I would have liked, the dream suggests to me that “something was happening… Read more

If you only knew how many times and how many years your CD’s have brought me from a place of tension to a place of peace and contentment! You are an absolute treasure! I thoroughly enjoyed your latest newsletter. You are bringing such profound awareness to our physical and spiritual needs especially in these terribly troubled world times. Keep up your wonderful work!

My family and I attended your presentation at the U of O Bookstore. We all enjoyed it immensely and we bought your sleep CD. Our 15 year old son has had some trouble sleeping. Sunday nights seem to be the most problematic. The first night he used your CD he slept nine hours!! Many thanks.

Hopps does it all – sings, dances, acts. But primarily she makes you believe in the joys, pains and magnitude of Inanna’s challenges. Ask anyone who knows me to describe me and the word Zen would never be used. However, Zen is what I became prior to my surgery thanks to Nancy and her beautiful Surgery: Mindful Mending CD. I am not one to meditate but was given the gift of her cd a week before my hysterectomy. I didn’t know what a wonderful and needed gift it was going to turn out to be. I listened to it daily in preparation and had it playing on my iPod during pre-op. The anesthesiologist came by right before my surger… Read more

[in response to a newsletter] Dear Nancy, You are such a gift. I feel like I just sat down with a friend for a cup of coffee. You would have no reason to remember this, but I actually spoke with you once. I had a friend suffering from cancer and looking for any way of helping her, I stumbled upon your website. I called and you answered the phone and made me feel so much better. And your Cancer CD helped her tremendously. God Bless you for your work. You are the “Real Deal.” Much appreciatio… Read more

Simple, straightforward techniques to completely relax the body, mind and emotions…Hopps’ voice is calming and soothing and her timing is just right. The minimal music is soft and appealing. Each time I listen I am lulled into a deeper calm.

I have a lot of patients who’re using your CDs during their chemo treatments. One woman comes in every time and listens to the first five minutes or so of your [Cancer: Embracing the Healing Journey] CD to relax and prepare herself, before she’ll even let me start her chemo preps. Another woman postponed her chemo treatment til the next day so she could listen to your whole [Chemotherapy] CD first!…

Nancy Hopps warm and gentle voice, along with her wonderful message, has made an astonishing difference in the stage 4 lymphoma I have been diagnosed with. This week I had the third of the six chemo treatments in my protocol. Before listening to the CD’s, I had persistent pain in my stomach and back. Amazingly, after the first chemo session, and listening to Nancy’s CD’s at least two times a day, my oncologist said I am doing “fantastically well.” Prior to listening to the CD’s, … Read more

Yours are some of the top ones we recommend for people seriously wanting to deal with stress. They’re very effective! And people really like the affirmations, too. We sell a lot of them!

Hi Nancy! Just wanted to let you know that I have been using your Deep Healing Sleep disc for a couple of weeks now, with astonishing results. I can’t tell you how lifesaving your techniques and presentation are. There are so few people who really understand the value of sleep and relaxation that I wanted to affirm your efforts to help people in those areas. I am probably going to get the Relax-Quick! CD as well, for use throughout the day. I work in a stressful office and live in a city.… Read more
