SWAN Day Annual Performance – Oregon Contemporary Theatre
I especially liked the format of [Track 2 – Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques] – the deep relaxation induction followed by a series of well-designed affirmations. It gives the listener time to ingest each one on a deep, subjective level.

Once again, you have made my life so much better!!! I have been listening to your CD’s/tapes for many years, regularly, especially at night. Recently my husband had a motorcycle accident and broke both legs. Needless to say, I have been his main caregiver and it has been quite a task. We recently went camping and somehow I injured my eye and have a badly scratched cornea. SO, in addition to assisting my dear husband, I must take good care of myself. I first thought was YOU!!!! I have been listen…
Ask anyone who knows me to describe me and the word Zen would never be used. However, Zen is what I became prior to my surgery thanks to Nancy and her beautiful Surgery: Mindful Mending CD. I am not one to meditate but was given the gift of her cd a week before my hysterectomy. I didn’t know what a wonderful and needed gift it was going to turn out to be. I listened to it daily in preparation and had it playing on my iPod during pre-op. The anesthesiologist came by right before my surger…

Nancy Hopps has a steady, reassuring style that encourages the listener to trust the innate wisdom of the body and breath.
The performance of “We Are Neighbors” was really well received…Many students talked about how moving the performance was…several were moved to tears. We unanimously agreed as a [diversity] committee to host it again next year.

When I went in for my first chemo, I wasn’t at all afraid and I know it was because of your CD and guidance. I feel so grateful to have been led to you. Thank-you, Nancy.
[The Taming of the Shrew] is blessed with a delightful cast, dominated by Richard Leebrick as Petruchio and Nancy Hopps as Kate. The two have worked together before, and their strengths are well-matched. Both are highly physical actors with excellent vocal skills and comic timing. We’re lucky to have them here in Eugene.
Thank-you so much for the [Relaxation/Affirmation] tape…When I started experiencing theanxiety in class again, it was so easy to call to mind your helpful tape and your calming influence. The world needs more healing influences like you!
Dear Nancy, I am recovering from total hip replacement surgery at an accelerated rate which my surgeon and physical therapist consider amazing. I know a big part of the reason for my healing so quickly was the use your Relax into Healing CD for Surgery. Relaxing and using my energy where it was needed during this potentially stressful experience was imperative. This was my first ever surgery and actually my first stay in a hospital… I’d been plenty apprehensive about it, until I start…

Thank you so much, Nancy. What a prompt & very helpful reply! Your [PAIN: Softening the Sensations] CD has helped me immensely — I’ve even had two afternoon naps which is not usually possible as I find it difficult to give myself permission to ‘turn off’ for awhile. I’m workin’ on it! Warmly,
