Her warmth and sense of humor add to the value of the information she imparts.
I love your crystal singing bowls…they brought joy to the hardest time of my life… Very healing.
[In “Spinning Into Butter”] Nancy Hopps as Sarah is natural and always believable as she reveals more and more of her scars.
I’ve attended a number of seminars, and I’d say yours is one of the best, as far as coming away with really useful tools…I still use your CD frequently as a way to relax mentally as well as physically – to stop the barrage of thoughts that always crowd in when I stop long enough to try and relax. I would highly recommend your seminar to anyone. It was well worth the investment of time and money.
Yours are some of the top ones we recommend for people seriously wanting to deal with stress. They’re very effective! And people really like the affirmations, too. We sell a lot of them!
Nancy is doing some incredibly powerful work with tonal vibrations elicited from a series of beauteous bowls which carried me to depths I had only experienced previously through sweat lodge ceremonies, of times spent with the rock elders. This is not work for anyone with preconceptions formed from other healing practices. As for the vocals that were present…some of the “rawness” that came out helped break down blocks and holds within me. Like claws strong enough to score stone. Those moments of … Read more
I have been listening to your tape on Pain and I must say it is the best one hands down…I have Parkinson’s…
I’ve read so many books about meditation, yoga, etc., and I’ve been in India studying meditation from Indian yogis and Tibetan lamas. Of all I learned, I still prefer color meditation to anything else…As you know, each color has a specific beneficial “quality” (there is a better word in Danish, but I can’t find the equivalent in English)…still, I can’t visualize colors clearly. Listening to your tape make it easier. The nice music in the background also helps to get into th… Read more
I teach seniors, and my whole class loves you…and so do I!….[Also,]my friend fell and broke both her wrists and I could think of no present that would do her more good than your CD. I’m ordering another one for another friend whose husband is in a nursing home; she’s exhausted and again, your CD is the perfect gift.
When people ask me about tapes for relaxation, I recommend they listen to yours, and they nearlyalways buy it ….we sell a lot of your titles!
Once again, you have made my life so much better!!! I have been listening to your CD’s/tapes for many years, regularly, especially at night. Recently my husband had a motorcycle accident and broke both legs. Needless to say, I have been his main caregiver and it has been quite a task. We recently went camping and somehow I injured my eye and have a badly scratched cornea. SO, in addition to assisting my dear husband, I must take good care of myself. I first thought was YOU!!!! I have been listen… Read more
I don’t think I’ve ever been so immersed in that…Divine Awareness….Oh, my…what JOY!! These are tears of gratitude!!!
I found Nancy’s voice very appealing. The tape [Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques] is simple, but deep… not a lot of distractions like so many other tapes have. It’s sold well.
My 11-year old son has been restless at night and having trouble sleeping, maybe because of the adolescent melatonin imbalance thing. He asked if he could use my relaxation and sleep CDs (Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques and Relax Into Healing: Deep, Healing Sleep) …and he loves ’em! He’s been using them every night. He’s sleeping so much better and waking up feeling rested and happy. The good sleep is helping his concentration on school work, too. So thank you…your work is really making a diff… Read more
I gave your [RELAXATION/AFFIRMATION CD]to my 70-yr.old mom about a year ago, and she loves it! I’ve never seen her take to anything- any other tapes or books – like she has to yours. She has high blood pressure, stress, and a host of other health problems, and she listens to your tape religiously every afternoon. She actually wore it out! So I’d like to send her one of each of your relaxation CD’s for an anniversary gift.
You are absolutely amazing and so are your CDs! I’ve got a LOT of them –– and I haven’t used my other ones since I discovered yours. I’m in chronic pain myself, and these CD’s are amoung the best I have personally tried. I would like to promote them through the [pain support] group and make them more readily available here.
I still use your [Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques] tape frequently as a way to relax mentally as well as physically – to stop the barrage of thoughts that always crowd in when I stop long enough to try and relax…
Your efforts to increase compassion and understanding are so needed and so appreciated. This is my third time to see [“Now, I Am Your Neighbor/We Are Neighbors”] Thank you.
The techniques on my Deep, Healing Sleep CD seem simple, and you would think you could do them one your own, but having your voice as a guide makes them much more effective. It’s easier if someone else is doing the driving, as it were.
I’m currently in an Outpatient Treatment Program for substance (in my case alcohol) abuse. On behalf of my mother and myself, we THANK YOU so much for the healing work you do. We listen to your cds daily and find them effective and comforting.
I had a pinched nerve in my foot the other day, and your guidance was the only thing that got me through it…..it was excruciating, but the breathing, relaxation, imagery and especially the non-resistance I’ve practiced with your [Pain] CD for my other chronic health challenges helped keep me sane for the few hours til it eased up. THANK-you, Nancy!!!
How were you drawn to Nancy’s work? About three years ago there was a lovely article in the Register Guard and it really told all about her. I had [breast] cancer at the time but it had not spread and I wasn’t really in need of, or didn’t think I was in need, of help at the time. But very shortly after that, Nancy had a CD signing over at Border’s bookstore and I was out of town…but I gave her a call because my cancer had spread and I was needing to start chemo. And, oh, I’ll tell you, … Read more
I appreciated the way you presented information – very clearly, organized, and not in ‘professional jargon’, but rather in a way that promoted understanding.
I downloaded the CANCER: Embracing the Healing Journey mp3 today. I see the oncologist tomorrow so will have a better idea of what I’m dealing with. I just know I need to be well prepared and I know your CDs are going to be a valuable and significant part of that preparation. I listened to some of the sample clips and downloaded the free 12 minute relaxation audio and I knew that this is definitely for me; it all felt so right. For 15 years I’ve been in chronic pain. I choose not to take medication – that’s why your work is so important to me. I’ve been able to put on your [Pain] CD when I wake up in pain, and it helps tremendously. You have a real gift, Nancy. With profound gratitude,
I have a lot of patients who’re using your CDs during their chemo treatments. One woman comes in every time and listens to the first five minutes or so of your [Cancer: Embracing the Healing Journey] CD to relax and prepare herself, before she’ll even let me start her chemo preps. Another woman postponed her chemo treatment til the next day so she could listen to your whole [Chemotherapy] CD first!…
Outstanding! “End of the Rope” has its own atmosphere….Fascinating.
You have the MOST effective line of soothing tapes/CDs I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried a lot of ’em… The reason I wanted to order the Relaxation/Affirmation CD is because a friend of mine sent me the cassette tape quite a few years ago and it is almost worn out!! It is my favorite relaxation method of all. It always relaxes me into a restful sleep. Keep up the good work.
I have been enjoying my “Go to sleep!” CD. I love both CD Resource Kits, allowing each of us, your students, to feel that personal side of you. I have learned to come into the program at different cuts for personalized effects. You do good work! Thank you. P.S. My friend (an RN) is getting good results with your healing CD (Relax Into Healing: Finding the Peaceful Place Within) as well, following her heart surgery.
Let it go. Since stress is a huge trigger for cravings, learning to deal with it could potentially save you hundreds of calories a day. This will take some practice. You can try deep breathing or visualizing a serene scene on your own, or you can speed things up by buying one of the many CDs that teach progressive muscle relaxation. A good one is Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques, by Nancy Hopps
We love your Relax into Healing CD (Finding the Peaceful Place Within) as well as Deep Healing Sleep — and use these for our 10-15 minute meditations. We lead a daily 10-15 relaxation class in our corporate fitness center. It’s tough to find good short meditations for this purpose. These CDs are among our favorites! Thanks.
The day I first heard one of your CDs was a revelation for me…I now have seven of your CDs and have been in your loving, healing radiance for the past two months. You have become my special angel, and for that – and so much more – I am grateful. Pain has been my constant companion, so your has guided me along the way. I constantly use Pain: Softening the SensationsDeep, Healing Sleep and Healing Affirmations & Harp and my most recent purchase, Finding the Peaceful Place Within. I cannot express… Read more
I am using Nancy’s Pain CD with clients in my work at St. Charles Outpatient Behavioral Health, and their Home Health Agency. The relaxation CDs I use regularly also – they’re all great – very high quality, research-based material. Patients report that Nancy’s beautiful voice is calming and the information and processes on the CDs are very helpful.
I love that Nancy’s CoreYoga+ class is refreshingly real. I come away with a sense of peace and a sense of community that comes from having fun with others. It’s about balancing physical exertion, breath, laughter and relaxation. Nancy makes that all come together magically.
Want to thank you again for the Pain CD. I thank you every time I use it! Hugs,
I’ve even successfully used [the relaxation techniques we learned] in some nitty-gritty stressed-out situations – to me, that’s the acid test.
I have had a real breakthrough the past two nights with the “Finding the Peaceful Place Within” CD. Thank you sooo much …. I’ve been wanting to find a good CD for a couple of years to help me and this is the first one that has really clicked for me. I feel so grateful. I’m wondering if I could order the sleep one as well?
Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques by Nancy Hopps -Master muscle relaxation and embrace the calm, healing qualities that make this audio program a favorite of stressed-out professionals, parents, students, and children. [A] simple and acclaimed stress solution.
Wanted to say thank-you. My mom is going through chemo right now and as you probably know it’s been hard on her. I found your CD at the UofO bookstore, and she just told me she was so relaxed she fell asleep and napped, something she never does. She said thanks it helped immensely, and was something she didn’t even know she needed.
I have spent many years studying the art of relaxation through meditation, guided imagery, positive affirmation and the like and have found your Relax Into Healing Series to be by far some of the best available, anywhere! They are extremely well presented and executed. All the positive energy you put into the series comes through to the listener… The world cannot get too much of these incredible tools! Spread the word!
….Well, one year later, still pain free in my hip and stomach, where there had been constant pain until after I came to you. Still remembering to take time to be quiet and using your CD to help me… Thank you for the work you do and the difference you made in my life. Much love and gratitude to you.
Nancy’s beautiful CDs [Surgery: Mindful Mending and Healing Affirmations & Harp] were a godsend for me during surgery and treatment.
Experiencing your crystal bowls was one of the most powerful, emotional, beautiful (I could go on and on!) soul pleasing [series of] moments of our lives. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your precious gift….
… at the Society of Technical Communicators meeting …the night’s topic was Stress Management for Stressed-Out Professionals…The speaker, Nancy Hopps, is a seasoned professional, having spent the last twenty years developing her techniques and guiding thousands of students, clients and workshop participants. Her presentation was simple, yet quite effective.
EDGU and Nancy have both been such a gift in my life. EDGU is unlike anything I have done before and I love it because it allows me to work on my body, mind and spirit in a very unique way. It offers me a practice of clearing, letting go, aligning, recharging and receiving, all while strengthening my body, and my mind. Nancy herself is a beautiful, heart-full teacher, gentle and knowledgeable and not to be missed! Having her EDGU DVD throughout my many life changes has proven to be an “essenti… Read more

[The Taming of the Shrew] is blessed with a delightful cast, dominated by Richard Leebrick as Petruchio and Nancy Hopps as Kate. The two have worked together before, and their strengths are well-matched. Both are highly physical actors with excellent vocal skills and comic timing. We’re lucky to have them here in Eugene.
Nancy Hopps is a wise, eloquent, and engaging speaker and teacher. The participants(post-menopausal women w/ Type 2 diabetes) in our MLP 2-yr grant research project, have responded wonderfully to Nancy’s yoga and stretching routines, her guided imagery and relaxation techniques, and her warm, caring approach. I strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to focus on stress-management, meditation, healing, and personal transformation. I am continually reminded, as I experience Nancy’s work, that… Read more

THANKS FOR THE FAST-TRACK HEALING! Well my rehab continues to sail on at an accelerated pace. I work hard at the physical therapy exercises, walk as far as I can, eat good nourishing food and relax and meditate in between. Yes, “relaxing into healing” works. Lets your energy (qi) go to work healing, unhindered by petty fears and insignificant daily hassles. I do hope your message continues to expand for the benefit of many. Love and Cheers,
I’ve been listening to Track 5, Embracing All Emotions on the Cancer CD, over and over again, because I really need to hear that…it feels like you really know what I’m going through, and that it’s okay to feel everything I’m feeling. It’s helped so much. Thank you, Nancy…..I’ve also been using your Chemo CD during my treatments, and it’s wonderful…even when I drift off, it’s so nice to have your voice gently guiding me in the background
Proven de-stressors
These are wonderful techniques… You’re giving information that’s been around and that’s been used by a lot of people, but you have a wonderful way of simplifying it, directing it, and taking the pretension out of it so it’s very accessible to the user. The imagery on these relaxation tapes is very powerful.
Most of my clients prefer this [Relaxation/Affirmations Techniques] tape to others we’ve used. The combination of music and voice is very relaxing in itself. I also like the full or minimal tension option…..lots of effective, easily learnable techniques.
I think you probably knew just how much I needed that time with you yesterday. I have not cried that long and hard with anyone but [my husband] in probably 25 years. So much release…so much insight and healing happened. I have been tired today … but so much calmer. So thank you for being such an amazing being, for offering such a safe space for me and for shining your loving heart and facilitating such deep healing. You are a wonder.
When I got my diagnosis, I felt like I was in a free-fall without a safety net. To have this kind of wonderful, loving energy and support [on Relax Into Healing – Cancer: Embracing the Healing Journey] was literally life-saving. I was able to move from fear to love, and I really learned I AM not alone. THANK-you.
I am so grateful to have your beautiful, inspiring CD [Healing Affirmations & Harp] to listen to every single night at bedtime!
I decided to try EDGU as it was one of the few things offered at the YMCA at a time I could attend before going to work. That was well over a year ago and it is now one of the bright points in my week. Combining exercise and visualization I find it stimulating and relaxing at the same time. I particularly love that I can do it with eyes closed while Nancy’s supportive voice guides the way. I enjoy just following along to the visualization as Nancy speaks it in class and have not committed it to … Read more
How were you first introduced to Nancy’s work? I was diagnosed with [liver] cancer almost two years ago. I had surgery about six weeks after I was diagnosed…Some friends brought me [Nancy’s] CD…to prepare for and heal during [and after] surgery….Then once I started healing from the surgery, I had some friends who collected a fund for me to come and work with [Nancy]…It was an unbelievable gift….and so I started coming to work with her… How has your life been impacted by your work with Nancy?… Read more
Dear Nancy, I am recovering from total hip replacement surgery at an accelerated rate which my surgeon and physical therapist consider amazing. I know a big part of the reason for my healing so quickly was the use your Relax into Healing CD for Surgery. This was my first ever surgery and actually my first stay in a hospital… I’d been plenty apprehensive about it, until I start… Read more
I just wanted to tell you how valuable your Surgery CD was for me before and after my knee replacement surgery. I used it for weeks and weeks and it helped tremendously. I had a lot of apprehension about the operation, and it really helped me change my attitude. Your voice is absolutely beautiful – it’s so soothing. You are doing very valuable work. Thank you so much.
I have been privileged to practice EDGU with Nancy for many years. I was delighted when her EDGU DVD became available because it allowed me to continue the physical and spiritual part of the practice at home. I have given her DVD as a gift to several friends who have found it very valuable as well.
Thank you for your Universal Work! It is important and transformative!
I have used some of Nancy’s excellent relaxation tapes with both adults and teens with superb results. Her gentle, pleasing voice aids in transporting the listener through a rainbow of guided images. I highly recommend her tapes to anyone who is on the path less traveled.
Yesterday I was pretty sick and listened to the new [Pain] CD 3 times. It is just perfect. You have such an amazing gift… your voice is so comforting and soothing and well-timed. Your choice of words is the best…stuff I’ve never heard on any other CD. It eases so much of the tension and lowers the pain decibels so that I can always fall asleep, even if just for a little while. The reprieve I get is such a huge relief. One of the reasons our neighborhood is such a jewel, is the ongoing yoga+ classes Nancy offers at the Healing Sanctuary. What a luxury it is not having to get in a car! When Nancy works us hard, we find laughter a great way to persevere. Personally, the focus on abdominal/core work combined with gentle stretching has kept my mild scoliosis symptom-free. In her classes I have also come to know, respect and love my neighbors as we bear witness to one another’s ups and downs, challenges and celebra… Read more
Let me say that your voice is most enjoyable and helpful…The affirmations are great – I say this because so much material from the “New Age” movement is unsuitable to Christians…but I believe your affirmations are general enough to be of benefit and healing to all who use them.Every blessing for success with your work.
Nancy Hopps brings a heartfelt, soothing quality to her teaching and audio guidance. Her intention is clear and she stands on the power of her experience. Anyone who listens and applies these teachings will come closer to inner peace and healing, the gifts we all desire and deserve.
My family and I attended your presentation at the U of O Bookstore. We all enjoyed it immensely and we bought your sleep CD. Our 15 year old son has had some trouble sleeping. Sunday nights seem to be the most problematic. The first night he used your CD he slept nine hours!! Many thanks.
I want to thank you again for your contributions to the Oregon Psychological Association’s workshop, “Signs Along the Way: Identifying and Dealing With Clinical Nightmares” …As you know, we were addressing the most serious of situations for mental health practitioners, and it was the interspersion of your talents throughout the day that made the day more than just palatable, but actually enjoyable. This is the first time that a crystal bowls presentation really “touched me” – I’ve been to many different events, and they just never really did anything for me. But this – your event – was extremely powerful….something about the way you play them, your voice…just even to watch you…..it was very sacred. It was an amazing experience…….I’m still vibrating from it – literally!
It was wonderful to have been led to your doorstep as I faced the process of surgery and recovery. Your voice and guidance are so gentle and reassuring. They create such a loving atmosphere for facing the fears, the pain, and the grieving connected with surgery. And I know the recovery process was greatly speeded by your gently healing ways. Thank you, Nancy, for making this healing CD available to so many.
This piece of existentialist theatre by playwright Nancy Hopps and directed by David Arnold is sure to inspire self-reflection on the part of the audience. “Mind Your Own Abyssness” is a unique play you will not want to miss!
Hopps is a pleasant addition to the company. She has an animated air, a fine voice and an engaging persona. In several of the songs [in ACE’s “Lies & Legends: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin.”] she is paired with Russell; it is a winning combination. The chemistry between them is evident.
Nancy Hopps’ voice [on Pain CD] soothed away all anxieties and softened my painful sensations. Her masterful choices of words is compelling and potent. With Profound Gratitude,
Nancy Hopps’ recordings are a must if you’re serious about relaxing, healing, and affirming your inner being. They are unique and beautifully done.
I need to order several more complete sets of your CDs. I can’t keep them in our lending library – they’re always checked out. Patients love them! Your voice, the music, your choice of words…its all wonderful. Your CDs create such a feeling of peace. How can something so gentle and soothing be so powerful?!! Thank-you, Nancy, for sharing your healing gifts with us.
Ms. Hopps has produced one of the best relaxation tapes available for use with patients suffering from PTSD symptomatology [anger, anxiety, depression, insomnia]. Her rich voice, the timing of her suggestions, and the minimal use of music make Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques a classic among stress-management materials.
Thank you Nancy for the rewards I feel both inside and out. Even though my facial expressions may not always show it during an “abs” session, when I leave I am smiling from head to toe. You are such a blessing to us all. Namaste.
You have the voice of angels, with the guidance of God.
Your personal presentation is terrific – warm, confident and full of grace. You are wonderfully accepting and affirming of everyone. Being around you was the best part of the class! Thanks for being you.
Thanks Nancy. Your work is “exquisite”. I am currently experiencing shingles and a reactivation of some autoimmune problems. Your CDs help me immensely. [I have nine of them!] Also, my husband has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and I will encourage him to listen also. Thanks for your work.
I checked several of your CDs out of the library, including your Surgery one. I sunk into it 150%! It helped SO much! Thank you for these great recordings!
I have received many Wows! Such a dynamic way that your [“We Are Neighbors”] troupe presents the humanity of immigration—very powerful and humbling. Keep up the good work! Amazing!
I did a private crystal bowl sound healing session with Nancy and it was the most profound experience I’ve had in my life. Her gentle, flowing and intuitive approach helped me to relax and connect with the deepest parts of myself. I experienced spatial sound and felt the vibrational frequencies beyond our physical reality. Nancy is a multitalented healer and her capacity to embody fully sound healing is exceptional. Her feminine, loving, warmhearted personality is a gift to this world.
I have a lot of patients who’re using your CDs during their chemo treatments. Thank-you very much for participating in our “Caring and Coping” conference… Your workshop, “I’m Too Busy to Relax!” was very well-received. The evaluations were very positive and complimentary. I look forward to working with you again.
The most mature play [of the festival] is “Mind Your Own Abyssness” by Nancy Hopps. Here, surrealistic metaphor becomes actual as a man grapples with powerful emotions. At one point he shouts at his fellow actor to, “Quit f**king with my internal landscape!” Take that Edward Albee.
I especially liked the format of [Track 2 – Relaxation/Affirmation Techniques] – the deep relaxation induction followed by a series of well-designed affirmations. It gives the listener time to ingest each one on a deep, subjective level.
Brilliant Eugene actress, Nancy Hopps, brings her talents to this delightful one woman show, “Raw Canvas.”
Nancy Hopps fairly beams as she casts her inner glow over the Eugene Chamber Theatre’s “The Descent of Inanna,” a dark and complex modern telling of a 5,000 year old Sumarian myth. Hopps does it all – sings, dances, acts. But primarily she makes you believe in the joys, pains and magnitude of Inanna’s challenges. Her Inanna embodies all the elements of both a sprite and a stone. She is vague and ephemeral one moment, specific and sensual the next. It is her show, and she puts an enormous stamp o… Read more

Thank you for sharing your giftedness, wisdom and experience. Thank … Read more
For 15 years I’ve been in chronic pain.
Having her EDGU DVD throughout my many life changes has proven to be an “essenti… Read more
I have received nothing but positive comments from our patients. Many have asked for [a CD] of their own…patients appear to respond quickly to the format of your relaxation techniques.
I am continually reminded, as I experience Nancy’s work, that… Read more
I have recently given up drinking after twenty-five years of drug and alcohol abuse. I am looking for avenues toward a real spiritual revival and healing of myself. While that may sound trite and shallow, I assure you it is not. Life is becoming a pleasurable experience… Your CDs have been a great help in my beginning to wake up and grow.
Relaxing and using my energy where it was needed during this potentially stressful experience was imperative.
I’d like to buy one for my oldest daughter, as well, because she too gets thes… Read more
My 3-year-old daughter, Victoria, loves Nancy’s relaxation [Relaxation/Affirmation] tape. It helps calm her down at nap time and to settle down for a good night’s sleep.
Participants left on a very positive note thanks to you. I have received dozens of complim… Read more
THANK you, Nancy!! I received the [Cancer: Embracing the Healing Journey] cd’s YESTERDAY!! Dunno HOW you did that so fast!! Please continue the important & oh so valuable work that you’re doing…it’s such a gift to humankind…I appreciate finding you very much! Warmest regards,
This is the first time that a crystal bowls presentation really “touched me” – I’ve been to many different events, and they just never really did anything for me.
One woman comes in every time and listens to the first five minutes or so of your [Cancer: Embracing the Healing Journey] CD to relax and prepare herself, before she’ll even let me start her chemo preps.

Thank-you so much for the [Relaxation/Affirmation] tape…When I started experiencing theanxiety in class again, it was so easy to call to mind your helpful tape and your calming influence. The world needs more healing influences like you!
Gidday Nancy, Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thanks again for taking time to send across your Surgery: Mindful Mending CD. I found it so helpful and nurturing, especially as I waited in the operating room. The minutes before “going under” have been anxious for me in the past. This time I relaxed and visualised the outcome I wanted. It worked!
